I just like the way she looks sort of triumphant looking out over the acres of trees. Perhaps my favorite part of the image is the small sweat that's collected at the base of her back, showing how she paid a bit to get up that high to see the view.

Still, one (hopefully) gets the sense that it was all worth it. :)

Great DOF and composition, she really does have that 'I'm glad I'm here but I need a rest' pose. The forest looks spectacular :D

Thanks, Lucy... it was quite a climb and well deserving of that moment of rest. I love that hike though, no matter how hot or thick the bugs are!

Thanks! This was another "accidental" picture too... I never told her I was taking a picture, and to this day... I'm not sure she knows I did either. I just saw her looking out over the edge of the mountain we'd climbed and snapped a quick shot!

So many of my accidental shots are lucky, in that I never get more than one shot at taking them! :ahoy:

Tricky and creative. At first I thought it was taken in front of a seaside or something like that. Love the green. Spectacular.

One needs no footsteps to follow.

Thanks... I just took a look at it again in here, and realized I hadn't gotten around to resizing it properly... but I'm glad you liked it
